I've just returned from a fabulous 4 day weekend on the Gold Coast with family - even though I didn't find Op Shopping on the Gold Coast quite as fruitful as other places around Australia it was heaps of fun!!!! There were plenty of clothes but as far as bric-a-brac went it was a little limited... I was limited by public transport and a flight to Melbourne but I still managed to find some great things - on the next visit it might be fun to hire a car and visit some inland towns like Toowoomba, Ipswich, and Warwick..
If you are visiting the Gold Coast and fancy some Op Shopping the highest concentration of Op Shops seemed to be around Southport and Vinnies Southport was really worth visiting...
