Vintage Sewing Patterns

These Vintage Butterick patterns are fantastic... A talented friend of mine made the top dress (Butterick 9261 Designed in New York) for her mother for Christmas which looks beautiful....

The 2nd pattern Butterick 2780 is a maternity pattern but I quite like the striped jacket and if I can find some great fabric, I might even get out the sewing machine and attempt to make it.... My mother was a fabulous sewer who taught sewing and made a lot of my clothes growing up, so hopefully I've inherited some of her talent....
