Americana at the Bazaar

Seeing this American flag at the Bazaar recently reminded me of a close friend who is about to move to Washington DC....it's all very exciting on one hand, but sad on the other because she'll be missed...I am already looking forward to visiting and have the Brimfield Antique Show in Spring on the list....

I absolutely loved this platter the minute I saw it......but unfortunately its now in more than one piece.. While taking these pics I dropped the phone and shattered it - thankfully the phone is ok.. it would have been more upsetting to break both in one go...
